A fossil crab from the famous Solnhofen limestone quarry in Germany unlike any we have ever offered before. The detail on this crab is fantastic. From the pincers to the carapace it looks like a crab, but the tail looks like a lobster. From antennae to tail, the crab measures 4 1/4 inches long. The carapace is around 2 1/2 inches wide at its widest point. Matrix size is about 8 5/8 inches by 8 3/8 inches.
