The detail is amazing on this Ctenothrissa sp. from Lebanon. The fins are so well defined and the positioning is so perfect, you would swear this fish posed! Notice also the fossil squid near the bottom of the jaw. This spectacular fossil fish is out of an old collection, thus the unprecedented quality.
