Normally, when we think of fossils, we think of a piece of something long gone. This is different, one of a kind for sure. Its a complete sawshark fossilzed where it died. The details are amazing. Look at the rostrum - you can see the tiny rostril teeth! Look at the impression of the fins. As an added bonus, there are numerous fossil shrimp fossilized in the same plate. They were scavenging the sawshark when they, too, were buried in some catastrophic event. One of the most incredible fossils we've ever offered for sale.
