Lowcountry Geologic has just completed an updated to the website. This is an all shark tooth post with many fine specimens from all over the shark tooth universe.

South Carolina

• Several Top notch Carcharocles angustidens from various river and land locations. The finest is a large 3 3/8 inches in near immaculate condition including the tip!
• A couple of River Great Whites, Carcharodon carcharias.
• A great selection of Carcharocles megalodon. From around 3 inches to 5 1/2 inches, these megs are all top notch specimens.
• For lovers of the rare, False Mako, Parotodus benedeni, and Giant Thresher, Alopias grandiis
• A few Isurus retroflexus from Charleston and another Isurus desori mako from Summerville that is the same color as a peach!
• Various common teeth.

North Carolina - Lee Creek

• Isurus desori and Isurus hastalis makos
• Snaggle-Toothed Shark, Hemipristis serra, various Tiger Sharks, Requiem Sharks, and Sand Tiger Sharks teeth.
• A single cow shark tooth

Chile

• Mako Isurus oxyrhincus
• Saw Shark Pristiophorus lanceolotus
• Some huge specimens from the Small Toothed Sand Tiger Shark, Odontaspis ferox with gigantic cusps
• A couple of fine Angel shark teeth
• A few excellent Megamouth teeth, including a very rare pathologic tooth.
• A handful of top notch Cow shark teeth, Hexanchus gigas

And finally a new location in Argentina

• Several excellent serrated reef shark teeth, Carcharoides totuserratus. These are rare from any location!
