Super Shark Tooth Update

New Shark Teeth Added

Today, Lowcountry Geologic posted a nice batch of new shark teeth to the website, www.lowcountrygeologic.com. Here's a click link to the latest updates.

The update includes:

Megalodon Shark Teeth - Big nice ones, including a spectacularly colored Summerville land megalodon over 5 inches. You've got to see it to believe it.

Angustidens Shark Teeth - More unprecedented quality. Top shelp specimens with incredible color.

High Grade Otodus obliquus in matrix - not the junk you see on the auction sites. High quality teeth in real matrix.

Parotodus benedeni - rare Oligocene specimens. Two of them even have side cusps.

Giant Thresher Tooth - We only added one, but its a nice one. Super rare!

Isurus escheri - from Mill in The Netherlands. Tiny serrations and great color.

Bone Valley Shark Teeth - Several nicely colored hemipristis and on juvenile Hubbel megalodon.

SC Eocene Quarry Shark Teeth - Carcharocles auriculatus, Carcharias koerti, and Squatina prima.

Carcharoides catticus - added a few nice Summerville Chandler Bridge specimens.

Rhincodon typus - ultra rare Whale shark teeth. We seldom offer these for sale because they are so difficult to find.

New Fossil Fish, Shark Teeth, Ammonites, Dinosaur Teeth, and Fossil Leaves added

Lowcountry Geologic been long overdue for a post. We tried to add a wide range of material this time around, including updates to our Fossil Fish, Fossil Shark Teeth, Ammonites, Dinosaur Teeth, and Fossil Leaves. We're sorry its been so long, but it takes time to scour the globe for fossils!

This update contains many high quality fossil fish from Lebanon, including some excellent Ctenothrissa and Apichthys. By far the star of the update is a complete Fossil Sawshark. From rostrum to tailfin, its one of the coolest fossils we've ever seen! We also added some very nice seahorses and other fish from Spain. The quality on all these specimens are spectactular. Many came from an old private collection, and its tough to say when we'll be able to get more of this kind of detail and preservation.

In our Shark Teeth catalog, look for unprecedented quality Paleocarcharodon orientalis and pathologic Otodus from Morocco. They are simply amazing - better than we've offered before. We actually went to Morocco to hand pick the finest specimens available from the people who find them. We've also added some nice pathologic teeth from Venice and some excellent megalodon teeth from South Carolina.

Our Ammonite section grew, too. Don't miss the excellent polished ammonite pairs. They have amazing color and make excellent display pieces. Not everyone wants polished specimens, though, so we added some nice natural specimens, too.

Make sure to check out the new Green River Formation leaves if you're into plant fossils. The detail and size of some of the new specimens are really impressive.

What big fossil post would be complete without Dinosaur teeth? We added some beautiful Moroccan Spinosaur teeth, including a rare, curved positional tooth.

Updates to Shark Teeth, Echinoids, Crabs, Fossil Fish, and More

Lowcountry Geologic has just completed another update to our website. Its been a while since our last post, so this update contains a nice mix of different fossils from all over the world.

Click here to see the update.

We have included some very nice megalodon teeth for shark tooth collectors. They are some of the best colored, large specimens we've ever obtained. We also added some top shelf Suwanee River auriculatus. They are big with great color and are very complete. We also replenished our Otodus stock with some large, high quality Moroccan specimens. We even added some beautiful polished Chilean mako teeth - perfect for jewelry! Oh, before we forget, don't miss the Summerville Mako over 3 inches. There's only one and its a beauty!

For echinoid lovers, we've added some new species to the site from Florida, California, and Egypt. The detail on these urchins in fantastic, and its a great chance to add some top quality specimens to your collection.

We didn't forget about fossil fish collectors, either. While these aren't the rarest fish specimens in the world, these Green River Formation fossils are very detailed and reasonably priced.

We just got in some new starfish from Morocco and Germany. The details are excellent on these exquisite matrix pieces.

We thank you all of you who emailed us for patiently waiting on this update. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
